WEST-AIRCOMM FCU, formerly Westinghouse Beaver FCU, was founded in 1949 by Westinghouse Electric employees in Beaver, PA.
Beginning in the 1980’s, new sponsor companies were brought into our field of membership. On October 1, 1987, the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce FCU merged with the Westinghouse Beaver FCU to form the WEST-AIRCOMM FCU.
We are a full-service credit union offering a wide range of products and services designed to meet your financial needs. Today, we have almost 18,000 members and over $135 million in assets. On September 15, 2005, WEST-AIRCOMM was approved for a 3 county community charter covering Beaver, Butler and Allegheny Counties. This means WEST-AIRCOMM membership is open to all people that live, work, worship or attend school in the 3 county area. Family members are also eligible for membership.
All WEST-AIRCOMM deposits are fully insured to at least $100,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, a U.S. Government Agency.
