Overdraft Protection and Overdraft Fees

Nobody’s perfect. That’s why West-Aircomm offers Overdraft Protection for life’s little imperfect moments. Whether a check, an ACH transaction, or an ATM / VISA debit card transaction, as a West-AirComm member, we have your back.

 

West-Aircomm offers three Overdraft Protection options*
Basic Overdraft Protection

Included with your West-Aircomm account. West-Aircomm authorizes and pays overdrafts for these types of transactions:

  • Checks and other transactions using your checking account number
  • ACH electronic payments for bills automatically deducted from your account
  • Recurring Debit Card transactions, such as a monthly membership or subscription
Extended Overdraft Protection

You must opt-in** to authorize the extended overdraft protection coverage. Opting-in provides protection for:

  • All transaction types included in Basic Overdraft Protection
  • ATM Transactions, including cash withdrawals and transfers between accounts
  • Every day debit card transactions, such as purchasing items at a store

If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft your transaction will be declined.

Will you always pay an overdraft fee?

Limits are subject to approval. We pay overdrafts at our discretion.

What happens if an overdraft isn’t authorized?

We do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft your transaction will be declined.

Do you charge an overdraft fee?

We charge a fee of up to $30.00 each time we pay an overdraft.

Is there a limit for overdraft fees?

There is no limit per day on the total fees we can charge you for overdrawing your account each time we pay an overdraft.

Revoke authorization for Extended Overdraft Protection

  • visit one of our branches
  • email revocation to atmdebt@westaircomm.com
  • mail a written revocation to PO Box 568, Beaver, PA 15009-0568. Your written revocation must include both your name and your account number so that we can properly identify your account.
